Privacy policy
How personal data from the forms on this site is handled, and what rights you have under the GDPR.
Data controller
The controller of your personal data is Oscar Linde Piano, CVR 44979780, Eckersbergsvej 42, 5230 Odense M, Denmark. For any question about how your data is handled, write to contact@oscarlindepiano.com. The business is not required to appoint a data protection officer.
What data is processed
When you fill in the contact, application or booking form, I process what you write yourself: your name, email address, any phone number, and the content of your message, including what you tell me about your level and what you want to achieve. When you buy, I also process billing details. I do not process special categories of personal data, and I ask you not to send such information through the forms.
How the forms send your data
When you press send, your answers are transmitted to my customer system (CRM), where you are registered as a contact so that I can answer you and keep track of our conversation. The submission is labelled with which form you used and which of my services it concerns, so your enquiry ends up in the right place. Along with your answers I record which language version of the site you used and which page you sent from. No cookies or tracking are involved. If the customer system is unavailable, a pre-filled email opens in your own email program instead, which you then send yourself.
Purpose and legal basis
Your data is processed in order to answer your enquiry, to enter into and perform an agreement about lessons, membership or a booking, and to comply with Danish bookkeeping law. The legal basis is GDPR Article 6(1)(b) (performance of a contract or steps taken prior to entering into one), Article 6(1)(c) (legal obligation, including bookkeeping) and Article 6(1)(f) (my legitimate interest in answering enquiries and running the business). If you actively tick the box for tips and news, those emails are sent on the basis of your consent under Article 6(1)(a) and section 10 of the Danish Marketing Practices Act. Consent is voluntary, your enquiry is answered either way, and you can withdraw it at any time via the unsubscribe link or by writing to me.
Recipients and processors
I do not sell your data. It is shared only with suppliers who process it on my behalf under a data processing agreement: HighLevel Inc. (the customer system that receives the forms), Vercel Inc. (website hosting), Stripe (payment processing), Skool (membership platform) and my email provider. If we use WhatsApp for ongoing support, those messages are processed by WhatsApp Ireland Ltd. My bookkeeper may also access invoice data.
Transfers outside the EU/EEA
Some of these suppliers are established in the United States. Transfers take place on the basis of the European Commission's adequacy decision under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, or on the basis of the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How long data is kept
Enquiries that do not lead to an agreement are deleted no later than 12 months after our last contact. Customer data is kept for as long as the agreement runs, and then for 5 years from the end of the financial year the material relates to, as required by the Danish Bookkeeping Act.
Your rights
You have the right to access the data I hold about you and to have inaccurate data corrected. You have the right to erasure, to restriction of processing and to data portability. You may object to processing based on a legitimate interest. Write to contact@oscarlindepiano.com and I will reply within one month. Exercising your rights is free of charge.
Cookies
This site uses no analytics, marketing or tracking cookies, so no cookie banner is needed. One strictly necessary cookie named 'locale' is set when you switch language. It remembers your choice for up to 12 months and contains only the value 'da' or 'en'. It cannot be used to identify you. You can delete it in your browser settings.
Complaining to the supervisory authority
If you are unhappy with how your personal data is handled, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby, Denmark, dt@datatilsynet.dk, datatilsynet.dk.
